Financing College Workshop

Date: Thursday, April 17, 2008
Time:  6:00 – 7:00pm
Where:   Scudder Dining Hall.

There will be an informational session for all 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grade parents on learning about financial strategies and affording college as your son/daughter starts the college search process in a few months or in a couple of years.

Valerie Schmidt, a Financial Planner for Ameriprise specializing in Educational Planning and an active MPI alum, will be conducting the workshop.  This session will review typical and new ways people save for college, explain the financial aid process and to learn how to review your overall assets.  We recommend all parents to come and get correct information as early as possible, especially if this is your first child going off to college.  Please RSVP to Lei Haas or by calling Pauline at 973-5000 to ensure adequate handout materials.
