Thank You!

Just wanted to acknowledge the class gifts we have received recently. Thank you to RB and her family for donating some great birthday books and "outgrown" books to the class. Thanks also to CH and his family for giving us a beautiful plant for the classroom. And also to CL for giving each of his classmates a fossil to take home on Wednesday. CL was lucky enough to go fossil hunting in the state of New York this summer!  While the rest of us were not able to have such a great  hands-on experience, we did watch a video, Digging for Fossils, about a young boy and his dad heading out for a day of fossil hunting. Next week we will learn more about how fossils are formed and conduct our own fossil-making experiments.
