Personal Timelines
The children shared their personal timelines with the class, and we learned all about the major milestones in our lives: birthdays, learning to ride a bike, traveling to exciting places, moving houses, getting new pets, starting preschool, coming to MPI, etc. The next timeline we are going to take on is the timeline of life...we'll be working with 4.9 billion years instead of 5-7 years!!!
Cultural Exchange: Cambodian Dancers
The entire MPI student body (preschool through grade 12) gathered in Mills Gym on Wednesday morning for a visit from Cambodian teenagers from Future Light Orphanage. The MPI high-school halau performed a hula for the audience. and the Cambodian dancers performed three mesmerizing dances.
