What's been going on in our classroom this week?

The fun continues with refreshing our minds on how to subtract. Working with money and useful items around the house makes it much more realistic.

In Literature Groups, most children are finishing their first book and are moving into another one. Groups will meet with me to brainstorm ideas of what kind of culminating project they would like to do.

This Friday is publishing day for our Writer's Workshop. We are all looking forward to hearing great stories from our fellow classmates.

The conclusion to The Witches is today. I wonder what Ms. Holzman will read next?

Lastly, we are having a guest from the Rotary Club come into our classroom today. He will present us with some much needed dictionaries!

Camp Erdman is quickly approaching! We are all really excited about this trip. Class meeting will be held on Monday, 10/2, to dicsuss and prepare for it.
