My Heart Goes Out to...

It's never too early or late too tell a friend how you feel about them. It's also nice to hear a reminder when you're having a "not so good day!"

That was the focus of a mini-lesson in our class this week. Each child was challenged to write down something about each classmate's personality that made them unique. The written messages were recorded on individual puzzle pieces and assembled to form a huge heart. The activity of putting the jigsaw puzzle together was well worth the effort. It took team work, patience, and lots of encouragment

The heart, along with all the kind and thoughful messages, is displayed in our class and is serving as a great reminder of what makes us special. Please take a minute to stop by our class and take a look, or check out the photos in our gallery.
