BIG ISLAND TRIP!

The long awaited trip is finally here!

The children are very excited and have been working hard in class on their inquiry projects.
For the past month, our class has broken up into three groups for Hawaiiana: Space, Global, and Nature. These groups have come up with ten questions/tasks to complete while visting the Tsunami Museum, Imiloa Center, Volcanoes Park, Akaka Falls, and many other sites. Each student has also come up with ten Big Island questions/tasks that they are personally interested in the answers to. All the information collected on our trip will then be used in our analysis of how and why our island is changing.The students have been having a great time researching these questions on the Internet, and most have more than their twenty questions/tasks to complete.

We are all ready for a fun and informative trip!
