End of the Year!

I can't believe there are only thirteen more school days left!

As we wind down the year, we continue to work on our portfolios The students have been reflecting, writing, and gathering information for weeks in preparation for conferences.

I hope by now that all of you have had the chance to check out the May Day pictures in our gallery. What an OUTSTANDING performance, one that will stay in our memories for years to come. If anyone has ordered the DVD of the performance, we would love to watch it! Please let me know if you are willing to send it in for a day. Please note the following dates coming up this month, as they are all important:

•No school on Friday, 5/18 - Conference prep day
•Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences - Thursday, 5/24-Friday, 5/25 (scheduled times are posted on my classroom window)
•NO LUNCH needed Tuesday, 5/22, and Wednesday, 5/30 special pizza party for 3/4H
•No School on Monday 5/28 - Memorial Day
•School Picnic on Thursday, 5/31 - More information coming
