HO'OLAULE'A, SPRING BREAK, AND KA-HALA-O-PUNA

Next Friday, 3/14, will be Ho'olaule'a.  You should have received a scrip price list as well as a food list in your Thursday packet last week.  Please be sure to send in no more than $5-$7 for your child to purchase scrip before next Friday.  We will not be eating school lunch that day but feasting on the "grinds" at the carnival.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me here at school.  I am also looking for parent volunteers to come and spend the afternoon with us.  If you are available to watch a group of students, please let me know. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.

Spring break is quickly approaching!  I hope you all have a safe and relaxing two weeks off.

When we return from the break, 3/4H will hit the ground running.  We will be getting ready for our much anticipated Manoa/Hawaiiana Day on April 10-11.  Hopefully, you have all "saved the date" to share a Hawaiian dinner with us on the Friday, April 11th.

3/4H is also VERY excited to begin working on our Ka-Hala-O-Puna opera props - Hawaiian sleds!  We will be making two of these sleds out of natural materials.  Making them for the opera also supports our ongoing Hawaiian studies.. Be on the lookout for more information coming home after spring break about supplies and donations to help build these sleds!
