Hawaiian Studies and SAT Testing
Hopefully you have had a chance to check out our photos from our Hawaiian Studies two-day-extravaganza excursion! Please be sure your child has a CD with all the photos he/she took made by Monday, April 21, so we can start working on our presentations "From Mauka to Makai."
Beginning Monday, April 21, the fourth graders will have a week of standardized testing. Please be sure that your child gets enough sleep and eats a hearty breakfast before coming to school. It is also important for your child to arrive on time as some of the tests will be administered first thing in the morning. Encourage your child to do his/her best, but also assure your child that there is no pressure to achieve a certain score. The fourth graders have been taking practice tests for months now, so I'm sure they are very comfortable with the format. The test scores will be mailed to you sometime during the summer.
