In Hawaiian Studies we have been learning about the inside of the earth as part of our volcanoes unit. Each child has drawn, colored, and labeled a model of the earth's layers. A fun and exciting way to remember this is to do a creative "hands-on" project!So.....come up with the most unique way to remember the layers of the earth by constructing your very own model.
You may use ANYTHING (ex: food, clay, styrofoam, etc.)
Be sure you are able to state, recognize, and explain each layer in your presentation.
Your final score will be based on how well you remember all the layers, their proper order, and parts of the earth's crust (eight pieces of information - use your drawing from class.)
All projects are due Tuesday, 9/23, at the beginning of class.
