Heart

Children are learning how the human heart works, what it looks like, and how it pumps when we are resting or exercising, as well as how to find our pulse. They discussed how the arteries carry blood away from the heart and the veins return blood to the heart.

Ms. Hitomi used a fish pump and colored water to demonstrate how the heart pumps the blood in and out.
