Table Manners
We have been practicing good table manners during snack and lunchtime. Here are some basic manners you and your child can practice at home or in a restaurant.
- Eat with a fork unless the food is meant to be eaten with fingers.
- Don't stuff your mouth full of food! You might choke, and it looks gross.
- Chew with your mouth closed. No one wants to see your food being chewed.
- Don't make rude comments about the food being served.
- ALWAYS say thank you when served something.
- Eat slowly; don't gobble up your food.
- Don't reach over someone's plate for something. Ask someone to pass it to you.
- Always use your napkin to wipe or dab your mouth.
- Clean your area after you are done eating.
