Table Manners

zachlunch.jpgWe have been practicing good table manners during snack and lunchtime.  Here are some basic manners you and your child can practice at home or in a restaurant.

  • Eat with a fork unless the food is meant to be eaten with fingers.
  • Don't stuff your mouth full of food!  You might choke, and it looks gross.
  • Chew with your mouth closed.  No one wants to see your food being chewed.
  • Don't make rude comments about the food being served.
  • ALWAYS say thank you when served something.
  • Eat slowly; don't gobble up your food.
  • Don't reach over someone's plate for something.  Ask someone to pass it to you.
  • Always use your napkin to wipe or dab your mouth.
  • Clean your area after you are done eating.
