The classroom has a new look! We rearranged the furniture on Tuesday because the dramatic play area wasn't getting much use. With the new arrangement, the children's interactions, relationships, and play changed, too!
Aunty Suzanne took the role of flight attendant as the children took a plane ride to Disneyland.

The children have seen their parents working on our "Treat Street." This inspired the children to draw houses where they would like to trick-or-treat.
Our trip to Manoa Fire Station was fun and informative. Captain Jay sang us a song about calling 911 and what to do if you're on fire -- stop, drop, and roll! We learned about the fire truck and saw where the firemen eat and sleep. We know we need to be smart and strong to be a fire fighter! (Pictures are online). Coincidentally, our school had a practice fire drill the next day. We were at recess when the alarm sounded, yet we lined up quickly and got out "safely."
CH celebrated his fifth birthday with mom and cupcakes.
