At Mid-Pacific Institute, we Cherish Our Legacy, for it makes us who we are today. We celebrate the beauty we are surrounded by and reflect on everything this place we call Mid-Pacific has given to us. Through our exceptional programs, faculty, and facilities, we also Embrace the Future and all that it holds. Please consider making a donation to the 2007-2008 MPI Annual Fund to perpetuate this legacy of MPI.

Why should I give?

Fact: Tuition covers only 83 percent of the cost of a Mid-Pacific education. Like all independent schools, MPI relies on annual giving from alumni, parents, staff and friends to enhance programs, cover day-to-day operating costs and keep tuition costs affordable. Your gift to the Annual Fund helps fund books for the library, microscopes for the science labs, special training for teachers and many other extras that we all want for our students.

How much should I give?

Only you can decide what an appropriate gift should be. A pledge is based upon your financial resources, your belief in MPI's mission and your understanding of the school's financial need. To make a gift of appreciated securities or to receive information about planned gifts, please call the Office of Institutional Advancement at (808) 973-5052.

Our goal: To have everyone participate

Whether it's $25 or $2,500, your gift is very important because the percentage of parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends who give is critical in soliciting large grants from foundations and corporations. Remember, enthusiasm is contagious! Showing your belief in MPI encourages others as well.

Consider a pledge

You can pledge your gift now and take until July 31, 2008 to fulfill that promise. You may even divide a pledge into installments for ease of payment. We can also send reminders. A pledge may enable you to make a larger gift, payable over time.

Credit cards

If you frequently charge purchases to accumulate frequent flyer miles or bonus points, your gift can help MPI as well as yourself. Call the Office of Institutional Advancement or fill out the credit card section on the pledge card.

Matching gifts

Any gift you make will have a greater impact if your company will match it. Simply return your company's matching gift program form with your pledge card, and we'll do the rest.
