Institute, 2445 Ka'ala Street,
Honolulu, Hawaii 96822-2299 (808) 973-5000

A message from President Joe C. Rice
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Mid-Pacific Institute
on the World Wide Web. I'm Joe Rice, the president of Mid-Pacific Institute.
We are an independent Preschool and K-12 school located in Honolulu, Hawaii,
nestled within the lush surroundings of Manoa Valley.
In today's competitive world, there is a demonstrated need
for the high-quality educational program offered at Mid-Pacific. We give
young people the academic challenge and individual attention needed to
reach beyond themselves and grow. Our programs are enriching and diverse.
We address excellence through intellectual, social, cultural, spiritual,
and physical achievement. The development of each student as an individual
is enhanced by promoting curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for self
and others.
Mid-Pacific Institute has a caring and dedicated faculty throughout
its programs. We promote academic rigor through advance placement courses
and the International Baccalaureate program. Our Mid-Pacific School of
the Arts was the first school in Hawaii to offer accredited, pre-professional
instruction in drama, dance, music and the visual arts. The student body
is representative of many cultures and nations throughout Asia, Polynesia,
Micronesia, Europe, and the United States... a true global village!
